Max debates with Director of IMF Europe on Monetary System

Today Cobden Centre manager Max Rangeley will give a speech and then have a debate with the Director of IMF Europe at the first Annual Summit on Economic Freedom  in the European Parliament.

Max commented “Central bank policies over the last decade, including quantitative easing and zero percent interest rates, have increased inequality and caused a debt bubble that dwarfes the 2008 bubble – we are headed for more trouble ahead. Although I disagree with the IMF on the current global monetary system I always enjoy speaking with them and respect their intelligence and integrity.”
