26 July 2011. TCC Board members and supporters attend the joint LSE and BBC Radio 4 debate: ‘Hayek Vs Keynes’. When broadcast on radio it was heard by an estimated audience in excess of 2.5 million listeners. One of the four panelists leading the debate was TCC Advisory Board member Dr. Jamie Whyte.
15 July 2011. Dr. Tim Evans addresses on behalf of TCC twenty young people at a ‘Balkans and Eastern Europe Regional Youth Conference’, hosted in London. Under the heading ‘Creating a Framework for Economic Progress in Europe and Beyond’ he primarily spoke about the Austrian School of Economics. Attendees can from Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Bosnia-Herzogovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro and Serbia.
11-15 July 2011. Numerous TCC Board Members, Senior Fellows and Advisory Board Members address the 2011 Cambridge Freedom Week organised by the Adam Smith Institute and the Institute of Economic Affairs. The speakers included James Tyler, Professor Kevin Dowd, Dr. Anthony Evans, Dr. Mark Pennington and Tom Clougherty.
6 July 2011. The All Party Parliamentary Group of Economics, Money and Banking organises in association with TCC an event on ‘The Future of Political Economy’. One of the speakers is TCC Senior Fellow, Dr. Mark Pennington.
16-18 June 2011. Dr. Tim Evans speaks at an International Leadership Summit in Opatija, Croatia, held in association with the Adriatic Institute for Public Policy. The title of the talk was ‘The Sovereign Debt Crisis and the Crisis of Sovereignty’. Representing TCC he spoke alongside the former Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Mladen Ivanić and British MEP, Danniel Hannan.

28 October 2010. LSE Hayek Lecture, by Professor Jesús Huerta de Soto. 6.30 – 8.00pm: Sheikh Zayed Theatre, New Academic Building, London School of Economics. The current financial and economic situation of the world should be analysed from the point of view of the Austrian Business Cycle Theory as developed by Mises and Hayek. Professor Huerta De Soto presents innovative solutions to the banking crisis and credit crunch working within the tradition of the Austrian School masters, Mises and Hayek. He also unveils his proposal for similar legislative change that the “Peel Act” or Bank Charter Act of 1844 achieved with regards to the over issue of promissory notes to gold, but with respect to the over issue of credit. The consequences of doing this should create a climate of financial stability and an opportunity to totally restructure the national debt (potentially pay it off). This event is free and open to all with no ticket required.
