Max Rangeley & Steve Baker Lecture “Are We in the Largest Bubble in History?”

I gave this talk with Steve Baker at the Institute of Economic Affairs in Westminster. The moderator was Professor Juan Castaneda.

For the last forty years, central banks have responded to each recession by creating a series of larger and larger debt bubbles – culminating in the current $340 trillion global debt bubble, more than twice the size of the bubble during the 2008 financial crisis, when global debt stood at $150 trillion.
